The movement toward biophilic design ― bringing the natural world inside built environments ― led WG Design Studio to develop this organic textile pattern. Based on aerial photos of vineyards, line drawings that reflected the rows and waves observed were created. A stitched effect was employed when interpreting the linework into fabric. The resulting dotted pattern, formed by two-toned slub yarns in the weft that float over the warp, has a soft, graceful movement that can be seen and felt.
