Veneer is paper-thin slices of wood taken from the same log. Because of our spalted maple’s unique variability, veneer is the best way to cover a larger space with similar designs. The veneers taken from our spalted maple are glued onto other structural wood core panels to produce an industry-standard sheet of hardwood plywood. Each batch of veneer we process has its own unique spalting pattern that cannot be replicated. It is like a fingerprint; no two are the same, and you will never see the same design anywhere else.
We are tree huggers and scientists who have unlocked the secrets of the woodland and created a proprietary method for curing and conditioning wood into never-before-seen beautiful products, including spalted maple, spalted beech, spalted poplar, spalted yellow birch and spalted basswood trees.
