Description
Named for a remote village on the outskirts of the Falakro mountains in northern Greece, Volakas marble is one of the region's most well-known, and sometimes is referred to as "the Carrara of Greece." Its classic white background displays stripes of gray, taupe and pale burgundy, giving the stone a natural intricacy and intriguing variety. It is available in 4-by-12-inch and 12-by-24-inch field tile, 3-centimeter hexagon mosaics and 2-cm. bookmatch slabs, all honed.
