Since most of the materials used to make tile are found close to their manufacturing facilities, a dramatic reduction in energy and emissions is achieved by avoiding long-distance shipping of raw materials. In addition, many of the manufacturing sites that produce our tiles use some portion of recycled materials.

Tile is stain resistant and resists moisture penetration. Many finishes on tile make it slip resistant and skid resistant, so it can be used in areas where slipping could be a problem.

Because tile is chemically inert, no germs can live on the surface, and the only cleaning products required are warm water and neutral cleaners.
