Installation
Lab Designs Laminate can be bonded to the following substrate material: Plywood, MDF board, HDF board, Particle board. Material should be installed in conformance with basic techniques outlined by NEMA LD-3 for high pressure laminate or as recommended by your adhesive manufacturer.
Manufacturer Notes
Please handle with care, the product is thin. Please remove from box/crate and let acclimate for 5-7 days before using. After opening pallet or box lay laminate flat and put a heavy substrate on top to keep it from warping. Some warping can be extreme. Never fabricate or store product under 60 degrees or above 90 degrees. Leave your A/C or heater on at all times.Never deliver finished product to a non- temperature controlled environment. Never apply to dry wall without using substrate
Nema LD3 – 2005 - 400 Cycles [For horizontal grade laminates - regardless of finish or texture, resulted in over 400 cycles on a Taber Abrader. For pearlescent products, ( recommended for vertical applications only ) regardless of finish 100 cycles were achieved]
