Description
Get swept away in this captivating blend of aggregates, accentuated by mother of pearl and a deep, cool epoxy matrix. Key Epoxy Terrazzo is a highly decorative flooring system that combines pigmented 100% solids epoxy resin with marble, colored glass, granite, or other approved aggregates and is trowel applied at 1/4" to 3/8" nominal thickness and ground and polished to expose a beautiful matrix of epoxy and aggregates. Key Epoxy Terrazzo provides outstanding durability and wear resistance resulting in the lowest life cycle cost of any flooring system available. Key Epoxy Terrazzo is available in several formulations including conductive, enhanced UV light resistance, and highly chemical resistant epoxy novolac formulations. Crack and movement bridging installations of Key Epoxy Terrazzo can be provided when installed in conjunction with a KEY #580 Waterproofing and Crack Isolation Membrane.

Extensive colors for unlimited design variations. Colors will not fade or wear thin with interior service. Chemical and stain resistant, low maintenance. High wear, impact and abrasion resistance. Rapid cure, very low odor during installation in occupied areas. Less weight than marble, granite and cement terrazzo, more suitable for multi-story buildings. Seamless, sanitary, resists bacteria and fungal growth. Lowest life-cycle cost decorative flooring available. Meets USGBC LEED V4.1 criteria for IEQ 4.2 for low VOC, IEQ 4.3 for low indoor air emissions (CDPH - CA section 01350 Test Method). Meets NTMA and TTMAC standards for epoxy terrazzo. Maintenance
Clean skin with soap and water. Tools and equipment should be cleaned with xylene or lacquer thinner. Consult Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for safety and health precautions. After completing the application of KEY CHIP-100, the installer should provide the owner with maintenance instructions. KEY CHIP-100 is easily cleaned with neutral soaps or detergents. Routine mechanical scrubbing using the appropriate pad is recommended for all surfaces having a slip resistant texture. Refer to Key Resin Technical Bulletins #3 and #3-A for additional recommendations. Note: Office chairs should use a floor mat for additional protection of the floor finish
