Description
Textured glass, which the design community often calls pattern glass, is a category of glass with a textured finish. While fluted glass is the most popular type of surface finish, many other texture options are available. The degree of transparency of this material depends on the type of texture or ridges created in the glass. For example, tighter spaces between ridges creates more light diffusion, which increases the degree of privacy. Textured glass is subtle, yet effective, at evoking interest and atmosphere, while creating bright, private spaces. Textured glass is durable, fingerprint resistant and scratch resistant, and often used for partitions, doors and a range of other decorative applications.

This glass can be tempered or have a safety backing added. The fine fluted linear pattern diffuses light that works to reduces glare, and minimizes reflections. From a distance, the glass will have a subtle wavy look. Room lighting will have an effect on the look of this textured glass
