Description
Elegant, while at the same time heat resistant, scratch resistant and stain resistant, SM Quartz is the ideal surface for high traffic and everyday use. Crafted from quartz sands and carefully selected resins that undergo an intense manufacturing, grading and polishing process, SM Quartz complies with the strict international standards required for the food industry and safe indoor environments. It is ideal for a wide variety of applications, from prestigious, large open commercial spaces to intimately detailed interior design solutions in kitchens, bathrooms, flooring and more. SM Quartz countertops feature high scratch resistance, low water absorption and high chemical resistance. When compared to other quartz surfaces, our polished finish is exceptionally stain resistant and does not retain dirt, making it easy to keep clean. SM Quartz polished surfaces are nonporous and highly resistant to liquids and acids, such as coffee, wine, lemon juice, olive oil, vinegar and makeup.

Maintenance
For daily maintenance, use a damp cloth and a neutral pH detergent. Avoid acidic or highly alkaline detergents. Thoroughly rinse the surface with water and dry with a soft cloth or paper towel. Products specifically designed for natural stone surfaces can also be utilized. For commerical flooring applications, cleaning machines are generally used for large areas. The mixture of color is always carefully controlled and monitored to maintain the highest level of consistency. Although careful steps are taken to insure a high level of color consistency, slight color variations can still occur especially in different lot numbers. SM Quartz® can endure normal cooking temperatures found in the kitchen up to 375°F for a short duration, without the fear of scorching or burning
