The concept of “going in circles” ― whether describing an airplane circling around the perimeter of its intended destination or a person repeating the same actions and expecting different results ― is visually expressed in this dynamic Ghislaine Viñas design. Your eyes follow linear pathways with soft gradations through the pattern’s rounded shapes, only to end up in another round shape, as if caught in a habitual loop. Fresh takes on primary hues popular in the '60s and '70s are offered along with two gray tone-on-tone combinations. The design is digitally printed on Mylar or suede-textured vinyl, allowing color and scale customization.
The Brentano Design Studio has grown from a modest eight patterns in 1990 into an international source for residential, hospitality and commercial fabrics and wallcoverings. The range has expanded to include luxurious vegan leathers and indoor-outdoor, stain resistant and eco-friendly textiles.

Complex geometric lines and bold, vibrant colors highlight the contemporary graphic texture of Paradox. Resembling a puzzle, the juxtaposition of high and low within the dimensional pattern provide movement and depth. Paradox’s 18 contemporary colorways include Pink Champagne, Aquamarine and Mixed Berry, and their dynamic aesthetic is complemented by an extremely robust abrasion rate of 100,000 double rubs (Wyzenbeek, Cotton Duck). The 100% polyurethane face, 54-inch-wide fabric is lined with a knitted substrate with a knapped texture, providing a flexible, supple hand while maintaining strength and durability. Using a green manufacturing process, Paradox is a vivacious addition to Brentano’s line of environmentally friendly faux leathers with a solvent resistant finish.
