Raffia-inspired Papyrus starts with a classic, plain weave that even the ancient Egyptians would recognize. Substantial nylon yarns on the face give the 51-inch upholstery fabric a slight variation, adding interest to the construction. Perfect for structured pieces like headboards. The thick texture is created by weaving on a double-beam loom, creating a web of cotton on the back, which provides cushioning and support. Piece-dyed, the 10 colorways of Papyrus range from rich Oxblood and Navy to neutrals, all water-safe and passing 100,000 double rubs (Wyzenbeek, Cotton Duck).
