Description
Sassafras is an exceptional choice for outdoor decking, porches, siding, and trim projects. The Sassafras tree yields lumber and decking that is naturally rot resistant, great looking, easy to work with, and best of all grows right here in the USA. Due to the tree's fast and renewable growth pattern, as well as its exceptional rot resistance, Sassafras is a sustainable wood product. Sassafras offers a naturally elegant look that adds natural warmth to any outdoor space with its unique grain pattern. With no finish the wood starts off as white, and then quickly turns to a mocha brown, before fading to a silvery grey over a year. The wood can be finished with Oil or Water Based finishes, as well as painted to match any color the customer desires.
