These scientifically backed fractal patterns, developed by 13&9 Design in collaboration with Dr. Richard Taylor of Fractals Research, were designed to reduce stress and enhance well-being, creating a nurturing space for students to learn. We also consulted with PBK – the global leader in educational design – to guide best practices and desirable outcomes for students, teachers, and staff to benefit from fractal design. PBK was an early adopter of biophilic design principles in education spaces to provide a sense of place and connection to the wonders of nature.
