Custom select glass type, colors, patterns, and interlayers. Different glass types, conditions and surface treatments can be specified for the front and the back layers. Monolithic version available by request. Personalize surface with 3form Digital Printing
Options include Seamed, Flat, Pencil, Bullnose, Mitered, Beveled, and Waterjet edge profiles. Not all edge profiles are available on tempered lites. In exterior applications, fully glazed (framed and sealed) designs are highly recommended
Soak with clean water and soap to loosen dirt and debris. Uniformly apply a mild, non-abrasive commercial window washing solution to the glass surfaces with a brush, strip washer or other non-abrasive applicator. Immediately following the application of the cleaning solution, a squeegee should be used to remove all cleaning solution from the glass surface. Care should be taken to ensure that no metal parts of the cleaning equipment come in contact with the glass surface. Dry the window gaskets and seals to avoid degradation of these materials. Pressure washing at 1,500 psi or less can also be an effective way to remove dirt and debris in exterior applications without coatings. Note that pressure washing is not suitable for Pressed Glass panels that have been edge sealed
Partitions. Ideal for scearios where translucency is important. Alternatively, surface can offer visual privacy (diffuse light) if needed, depending on the design
Installation
Can be specified to include holes, notches, cutouts and pattern cuts. Corners must have fillets with radii at least 0.3125in. Any glass that is tempered will need to be fabricated prior to shipping. Altering tempered glass on-site will result in breakage. The material cannot be heat formed or cold bent and is only sold as flat sheets. It is recommended that the material be installed and handled by an experienced glazier. Due to the thickness of the lamination, special hardware is required to prevent failure of the panel. This hardware is designed with an adjustable bushing that provides a mechanical stop in order to prevent excess torque and compression on the face of glass. These adjustable hardware components allow glass to be mounted in a vertical application on a wall or with 3form's Versa system. Refer to Technical Spec for additional information
Material is non-combustible. Can be specified in all glazing, interior finish, and light transmitting applications requiring class A performance for flame spread
