Applications & Usage

Application Filter: Flooring
Installation: A specially trained application crew from Stonhard will complete installation. First, patching, leveling, and priming of the substrate is needed. Components will then be mixed together and uniformly spread over the primed and sealed substrate using a screed applicator. Steel finishing trowels are used to compact and smooth the surface of the material to the required thickness. A chemical reaction between components causes the mixture to harden. Mix and apply the topcoat sealant material over the hardened floor. Installation can only be completed when the slab and air temperatures are between 65° - 85° F. Relative humidity must be below 80%. Refer to manufacturer's documentation for additional information.
Suitable Substrates: With the appropriate primer, concrete, wood, brick, quarry tile, or metal are suitable substrates. Can also be used for new flooring or to resurface an existing floor (e.g. damaged polished concrete). For questions regarding other possible substrates or an appropriate primer, contact your local Stonhard representative.

Performance Metrics

Abrasion Wear Resistance: ASTM D-4060, CS-17 tested. 0.1 gm
Compression: ASTM C-579 tested. 10,000 psi after 7 days.
Flammability: ASTM E-648 tested. Class 1
Flexural Strength: ASTM C-580 tested. 4,000 psi.
Hardness: ASTM D-2240, Shore D tested. Result between 85 to 90
Light Blocking: Complete
Maintenance: For regular maintenance, use Stonkleen D2G with a mop and bucket or an automatic floor scrubbing machine. Deep cleaning for healthcare environments may require diluted Stonkleen AS9 to remove sanitizing and disinfecting films and residues that are left behind from health code protocols that, over time, will leave heavy build-up and dull the floor. Refer to manufacturer's documentation for additional information
Performance: Has a cure rate of 24 hours for normal operations
Tensile Strength: ASTM C-307 tested. 1,750 psi.
Water Absorption: ASTM E-648 tested. Result of 0.20%
