Custom Capabilities
Kaynemaile architectural mesh screens are highly customizable. Screens can be used as a simple ceiling-hung hanging solution that can be fixed to the floor if required, as folding screens to divide spaces, and as framed screens designed to fit into framed openings like doors, windows and cabinetry. Curved solutions are no problem for Kaynemaile either. The mesh’s malleability means it can be fitted to a curved rod or stretched across a frame to create curved three-dimensional shapes. Kaynemaile mesh also allows for kinetic movement to create playful, sculptural environments. It can create moiré effects when layered or hung freely and works well with lighting effects

Size
Kaynemaile mesh screens are not restricted by panel size - screens can be made to any height or width without joins or gaps
Our mesh is lightweight (3kg per square metre) and goes up fast, cutting down the install time dramatically and saving costs. Our fixing systems are simple and we don’t need the same level of sub-frame as metal products. This means our installed rate is more cost effective than metal or glass panel products
Performance Metrics
Flammability
Our mesh is compliant with 2018 IBC section 2606 “Light transmitting plastics” achieving a CC1 classification. It has also achieved a Group 1s in the AS/ISO 9705 room test (similar to a Class A in the NFPA 286 room corner test) with a SMOGRA of 0.5m2/s2; ASTM D 2843 smoke index of 70.9°, ASTM 635 HB-CCI; UL94 FR-V0 material at 3mm that is rated self-extinguishing
Light Blocking
Complete
Lightfastness
Material is UV stabilized and independently lab tested by the Building Research Association of New Zealand (BRANZ). Results show the minimal deterioration of the mesh after 2000 hours of continuous testing.
Maintenance

Performance
Cd = 0.8, which is 40% less than an equivalent two-dimensional or woven mesh
Tensile Strength
The accumulated strength of seamless mesh increases proportionately with the size of the panel
