Technical Specifications
Dimensional Stability
DIN 11359-2 Linear Thermal Expansion Coefficient Tested. See Technical Information Guide for additional information.
Impact Resistance
DIN EN ISO 179-1 Tested. 11kJ/sq m.
Overall Thickness
4mm with balancing sheet. Pressed composite is 19mm
Can be machined with typical woodworking tools. Capable of being drilled, milled, sanded, chamfered, polished, and cut. Can be cold formed (minimum radius of 400 mm). Can be direct glued. Refer to Technical Information Guide for additional information.
Recommended Adhesive
RAUVISIO Flat-Lam PUR, SikaBond® AT universal, or a single component PU hotmelt is recommended.
Suitable Substrates
Does not require a substrate for certain applications. Wooden substrates, lightweight boards or composite material substrates are suitable. MDF is recommended for a high-quality surface finish. The specially developed balancing sheet is perfectly color-matched to the acrylic sheet. The material thickness of the balancing sheet ensures minimal warpage of the board assembly.
