Description
Artist Alykhan Velji has put a playful spin on the traditional checkerboard motif. Orderly squares aren’t so rigid anymore. Their borders have softened into an informal, convivial weave in which quadrangles are stretched and warped into casually imperfect forms. The pattern is textured with a vibrant watercolor effect that adds complexity, depth and character to relaxed spaces.
