Recommended Adhesive
Water-based spray contact adhesive or solvent contact adhesive, combined with construction adhesive for ceiling and heavier applications. Or adhesive-free using SpinFix™ 100% PET friction-welded mounting clips.
Suitable Substrates
Solid substrates prepared to minimum Level 3 finish; clean, dust-free, dry. All gaps, joins, and cracks taped before installation. Very porous surfaces sealed prior to adhesive application. Gloss/semi-gloss finishes lightly sanded. Wall or ceiling substrate.
Performance Metrics
Acoustics
NRC 0.30 (3/8"); NRC 0.70 (1"); NRC 0.80 (1" with 1" air gap). Min NRC 0.45
Antimicrobial Note
Disinfect with isopropanol or ethanol diluted to 70% with water, or quaternary ammonium compounds. ASTM G21-15 tested: Growth Rating 0 — does not promote growth of molds and mildew.
Crocking
ISO 105-X12:2016 with Dry Rating of 4-5 (Highest = 5) and Wet Rating of 4-5 (Highest = 5)
Flammability
ASTM E84 Class A, FS:24 SD:250 (3/8", test RJ9445F-1a); Class A FS:0 SD:65 (1", test RJ4479-1); CAN/ULC-S102 FS:15 SD:65 (3/8" only, test QA-2243F-3)
Maintenance
Light vacuuming regularly prevents dust buildup. Clean marks with mild detergent + rinse + blot. Spot clean only; no stiff brush or solvents. Disinfect with 70% isopropanol or ethanol, or quaternary ammonium compounds.
